TaxPilot
Product and web experience for an Italian platform bringing CAF and patronage services online, from eligibility checks and payment to documents and request tracking.

Context
Italian bureaucracy, brought online.
TaxPilot offers CAF and patronage services online: ISEE certificates, 730 tax returns, rental-agreement registration and land-registry searches, among others. Each normally means forms, documents and an appointment. The platform lets people choose, qualify for, pay for and track a service from home, while certified experts handle the work behind it.

Approach
Three decisions shaped the product.
- 01
Price and turnaround up front
Every service card and page states its price, VAT included, and how long it takes, so the cost and the wait are known before a request starts.
- 02
Check before checkout
A short questionnaire tests the minimum requirements for the chosen service and flags an unmet one in place, before the payment step.
- 03
Status over paperwork
After payment, the panel replaces the paper trail: documents uploaded against a named type, and every request labelled pending, in progress or completed.
Service catalogue
Every service priced before it is requested.
Each CAF and patronage service is a card with its price, VAT included, and a turnaround time. The service page repeats all three beside a single Request Service action, on desktop and on mobile.

Guided request
Eligibility is checked before anyone pays.
Requesting a service opens a short questionnaire over the service page. A progress bar shows how far along it is, an unmet requirement is flagged in place, and a completed check hands over to payment.

Client panel
One place to see where every request stands.
Personal information, documents and requests live in one panel. Documents are uploaded against a named type, and every request carries a status (pending, in progress or completed) in a table on desktop and in cards on mobile.

Brand and interface
A four-colour brand, carried into the interface.
Blue carries the primary actions, from Explore Services to Request Service and the questionnaire answers. Yellow frames the closing calls to action, and charcoal anchors the footer and the panel’s dark buttons.
